I've curated content for many years and for many different projects. I have done this partly for myself (it's a great way to learn), I also do it to help others connect and learn about new things.
I often put pressure on myself to produce new things. New words. New ideas. In my own voice. And often in the belief that if it's not a new perspective then it is not good enough.
However, today I got a little message from someone saying that 'an article I curated' got said person to reach out the the author which then changed his strategy on how to approach something.
The lesson is simple. The internet is all about interconnecting nodes, or that is how it started it. Helping people connecting through thoughtful curation is a valuable thing to do.
I know this in my heart, sometimes it helps saying it out loud. ❤️
