Community is funny. And big decisions are scary as heck. On my audacious quest to build the best tech community ever, we put stronger community boundaries in place. We were told it was a mistake and that it didn't make sense. By making the changes it stopped a certain type of participation without a paid membership, yet on the flip side, we are now enabling more new voices and participation at a free level than ever before. Community design is complex. Enabling a complete free for all does not mean better, infact in the world of AI, it usually means worse. #motaverse #community-design
