My faith in spaces for young people was restored last night. I took my daughter to an indie rock gig. So many young people having the best time. Feels like it's more important than ever to create opportunities for bands to grow, to keep venues open so those bands can play and bring people together. Nothing beats a bunch of people smiling, jumping around and collectively belting out lyrics. I didn't know those lyrics but soon learnt them as my daughter and I joined in. The live music ecosystem is one of the keys to community and long may it continue.
