I've had an itch for a long time to have an open space to talk about community.
I've discovered something recently, I love creating space for conversation. It's not something I've always felt comfortable with, but more recently, through building the MoTaverse, I've embraced talking to people.
One of my biggest concerns is whether I have the capacity. We already run two podcasts. Can we do 3? We reckon so.
One of the podcast formats that we run is called This Week in Quality. We've iterated over the years and have a great lightweight flow. Mostly it's showing up at the same time every week. We rotate with hosts, which took a while to get to, but it's got a good balance now. Sometimes we specifically invite people to come. Other times, we have a theme. People can also just join the stage live. It's been such a joy.
So, we're bringing that same format to the world of community, with Simon and I leading the efforts. I'm desperate to offload community thoughts, but I'm also equally keen to hang out on a regular cadence with other community people.
