❤️ On creating a Community Love Language Statement.
I've been listening to bell hooks, first her book on Belonging and currently All About Love. I don't feel qualified to talk about love. What I do know is that I'd like to get more comfortable talking about it, we sure need more, not less love.
And in my own kind of way Rosieland for me is an act of love for the community industry and the general betterment of humanity.
We all express love in different ways. We have different sensitivities, neurodiversity, communication styles, experiences, needs and life demands.
In a world full of misunderstandings and different expectations, being explicit with a community love language will hopefully help us all navigate our communities in a better way.
